The first of May we went to Gulf Shores with my parents and Matthew and Melissa. So. much. fun. Avery's first beach trip and she loved it. It was here where she really started talking. Learned how to say several words while we were there such as outside, go, truck (there was some construction trucks around), plane (which she was very scared of - would run to cling to your leg when she heard them fly by with advertisements with a stern look of fear), and my all time favorite saying she learned is all gone. It is no ordinary all gone, it is a very southern, very dramatic, allllllllllll gaaawwwwn. She likes to say it when she drinks all her milk, or if a something is empty. She also takes it to a dramatic level when she REALLY wants to stop doing something such as brushing her teeth, or if she wants down from her highchair, or if she is DONE strolling. She shakes her head back and forth and does the all finished sign with those. Love it. We went down to the pool one day at the beach and she splashed around having a good time then suddenly decided she did not want to be in the pool anymore and repeated "all gone, all gone, all gone." So, we got out.
